Where to start young developers of mobile games from Russia in current situation [Part 2]

All kind time of day! Decided to deviate from the intended plan and to dedicate this post to our Analytics promo video in the previous record, which can be found here.

From the 3rd to the 8th of August we received zero (not published anything) channel:

Video hit 30+ playlists from different countries and they shared 60+ times.

The bulk of the traffic occurred on social media and various Internet resources, including habrahabr.

After the publication of the video in a few days, we witnessed the highest jump of user activity, after which it became a moderately stable in quantity 12-20 hits per hour.

Overall, we are satisfied with the result for three reasons:

1) We were able to collect more than a hundred hits, so we managed to arouse the interest of a certain number of potential users;
2) got a good feedback.
3) Hit the top 10 organic delivery youtube we are interested in the queries.

Feedback


Feedback we received a variety, the vast majority are positive, but the greatest interest now are well-grounded negative reviews or reviews with criticism of specific details. This allows you to make changes and adjustments in the early stages of development, while the product has not yet been published.

About some we know are, for example, the visual component of the gameplay part, which we are currently working very actively. Someone did not like the music, someone not really liking the setting and style. These things are for the most part to the preferences of the individual and to adjust them for every one, alas, will not work.

But one question we were asked most often in different variations. The common denominator, it reads: and what is your game different from other runners? Indeed, 20 seconds to show all plans that were simply unrealistic (of course if you are not developing just a runner).

For this, it was decided to write a short description of the product and to make a separate announcement of the game earlier than it was planned, in which we talk about what is the project MonsterBeast.

MonsterBeast is a fun platformer with sauce of irony, peppered with references and allusions, and abundantly watered hardcore.

• Goal is to clear the Land from the evil virus

In MonsterBeast we've created a world that reflects our modernity.
A grotesque cartoon world show a familiar and everyday things from a new angle, and hardcore and drive will not give the player bored.
Even an ordinary Ostrich can become a superhero!

Closed alpha
