Source code is available on GitHub. Use full-stack JavaScript Toolkit Node.js + Angular2 + MongoDB, build Gulp.js testing Mocha, hosting DigitalOcean, PayPal payments API.
Stages of the process of creating project is depicted on LiveCoding.
The essence of the project is that people who travel frequently, others can deliver almost any things in your Luggage. For example you live in the US and you need any medication or documents from Russia. Donkey you can find someone who's coming back from Moscow to new York. It can help for money or for free.
Thus, users can act as clients that need service, and as travellers who can deliver anything. Traveler has the option to invoice or to pay to the client a service fee with PayPal fee is about 10%.
The project will be interesting in the first place:
the
-
the
- people who are far away from home (longing for home food type of halva, chocolate, yogurt, etc., the need for specific medications) the
- for those who want to save on the purchase of goods. One subscriber for livecoding, for example, argued that in France the electronics are cheaper than in Britain :) the
- students who are studying away from home, and seasonal move from school to home and back the
- long-distance lorry drivers, flight attendants, salesmen in General, all those who by occupation often travels and does not like to make extra money.
Advantages:
the
-
the
- speed of delivery (it is theoretically possible to find a traveler who's right tomorrow is coming to your town)
- transportation of prohibited goods for shipping by mail (medicine, food, documents) the
- low cost of delivery in some cases (for example, bike from Boston to Montreal).
the cheapness of the goods in the country of origin the
Disadvantages:
the
-
the
- low responsibility participants (there are ratings and reviews, in terms of connecting social profiles) the
- the fears and concerns of travelers the
- low cost of transportation compared to the cost of the flight.
