GT03B GPS inside

The first thing that caught my eye when I opened the box is its size. For some reason I was expecting significantly more. The device seemed very compact. In addition to the tracker in a box found: battery charger, USB interface cable (charging cable), battery and instructions. The device itself had 2 switches, mini-USB port, 2 LEDs and a relatively large red SOS button which can be illuminated from the inside by a separate led. Ie LEDs in total 3. The body of the device painted a nice velvety paint finish, similar to rubber.
Having gathered the device, I put it on charge. To full charge it is not diverted for 3 hours. Then real life began — the period of exploration and customization. Inserted loose at the time, the active SIM card and began to consistently looking in the manual to send to the SMS device, and then carefully examine his responses. Then checked the security functions. I must admit, that while I understand the syntax and its features — not once made a mistake. The device was either silent, or sent an error code. But still I must admit that it is elementary to configure and then it clearly works with these settings regardless of changing the SIM card. I tried it rates only voice. Did not work online tracking. Also tried only web fares then don't work voice function, ie remote monitoring, and dial by pressing the SOS button. However, SMS is sent and received.
The device is controlled and programmed exclusively via SMS and external buttons/switches. Any attempt to connect it to the computer fiasco. Was taken as a known-good USB cable from the camcorder (I want to underline its quality) and were included viewing logs on Linux — none of the stitching is not pulled in the log under any circumstances. It should be noted that the device allows you to track not only GPS but also GSM. If lost satellite signal, the map at the current point is not displayed, the letter "G" (GPS) in blue inverted "drop", and the letter "L" (LBS) in green. In the case of the mode of determining the position over the cellular network (LBS), the accuracy drops sharply and the situation can randomly roll around the map for miles, depending on the switching SOT, but nevertheless, overall it gives a very digestible picture of the situation.
Additionally, the device reports the charge level of its battery, the time of receipt of the coordinates, without the possibility of binding in my time zone and the address, which, apparently, receives from Google. All this you can see in the screenshot. The map can be switch the mode of satellite images. The battery level of the tracker reports four discrete values: 95%, 55%, 30%(in this case, via SMS complains that low power), and the last sends a message of type "I switched off because of a dead power supply". In the latter case, its status, of course, goes into "Offline" and stays on map "drop" of gray. All, then you can just catch the kid, rip the darn to retrieve the tracker and recharge it again. Ie excited own... a clear indication that their case is far from the truth and perfection. Them, these things have to hide. Draughty and hatred of their parents and especially to their care.
